TVS NTorq 125 Super Soldier Edition: A Captain America-Themed Power Scooter

TVS NTorq 125: TVS Motor Company has once again taken the wraps off a special edition of its best-selling scooter — the NTorq 125. This time, it’s something that will appeal not just to two-wheeler fans but also to Marvel lovers. Say hello to the TVS NTorq 125 Super Soldier Edition, a stylish and bold tribute to Captain America, priced at ₹98,117 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

This edition marks TVS’s continued partnership with Marvel Studios, and it’s part of the larger Super Squad Edition lineup which earlier included characters like Iron Man and Black Panther. However, the latest version stands out for its military-inspired styling, subtle color scheme, and unique visual identity.

Bold Styling That Commands Attention TVS NTorq 125

Unlike the earlier 2020 Captain America edition — which came with vibrant blue, white, and red graphics — the 2025 Super Soldier Edition gets a tactical makeover. This time around, the scooter features a dark matte black base with military camo green graphics, symbolizing Captain America’s military background rather than his superhero costume. Red accents and sharp lines give it a more aggressive, rugged look.

The front apron proudly carries the iconic Captain America shield insignia, while the side panels display the “CA 1941” tag, referencing the year Captain America first appeared in comics. Even the seat gets a dual-tone treatment with red stitching that adds to the premium look.

SmartXonnect with a Superhero Twist

One of the most unique elements of the Super Soldier Edition is how it goes beyond aesthetics. The scooter is equipped with TVS’s SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity system. In this edition, the app UI is specially customized to suit the Captain America theme.

Riders can enjoy a themed interface on the digital instrument console, complete with superhero-inspired notifications, riding stats, and even call/SMS alerts. It’s an experience that feels immersive and futuristic.

Mechanical Package Remains Unchanged

While the design and tech feel fresh, the mechanical side of the scooter remains identical to the standard NTorq 125. Powering the Super Soldier Edition is the familiar 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing around 9.5hp at 7,000 rpm and 10.6Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

This engine is known for its peppy performance in city traffic and quick acceleration off the line. The CVT gearbox ensures smooth and hassle-free rides, especially in urban settings. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a gas-charged shock absorber at the rear.

Braking is sharp and responsive, with the top variants offering a front disc brake and synchronised braking system (SBS).

Feature-Packed and Youth-Centric

What makes the NTorq 125 a favourite among young buyers is its feature-rich appeal. The Super Soldier Edition doesn’t miss out on any of it. Some standout features include:

  • Fully digital instrument cluster
  • Bluetooth connectivity with navigation assist
  • Voice assist and call alerts
  • USB charging port
  • LED DRLs and headlamps (borrowed from the Race XP edition)
  • External fuel filler cap for convenience

These features, combined with the new superhero livery, make it a solid choice for tech-savvy riders who also love pop culture.

TVS and Marvel: A Super Collaboration

This isn’t the first time TVS has teamed up with Marvel. The Super Squad Edition was first launched in 2020, featuring Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Panther designs. Over time, these versions were phased out, but the love from fans never faded.

The relaunch of the Captain America theme as the Super Soldier Edition shows how TVS continues to evolve these collaborations, not just relying on bright graphics but also incorporating subtle storytelling through design.

Should You Buy It?

If you’re a Marvel fan or simply someone looking for a scooter that breaks the monotony of usual designs, the TVS NTorq 125 Super Soldier Edition is worth considering. At ₹98,117, it does come at a slight premium over the standard variant, but what you get in return is exclusive styling, connectivity features, and hero-worthy road presence.

It doesn’t offer any extra performance upgrades, but for daily commuting and weekend rides, the NTorq 125 already ticks most boxes. With this Captain America edition, it just adds a whole new layer of personality.
