Royal Enfield has achieved its highest-ever festive season performance, selling 2.49 lakh motorcycles during September and October 2025. The milestone marks a strong festive recovery and highlights the brand’s dominance in India’s premium motorcycle market.

According to data released by Eicher Motors, Royal Enfield sold 1,24,328 units in September 2025, a 43% year-on-year jump over 86,978 units in the same month last year. The momentum continued in October 2025, with the brand registering around 1.25 lakh units, up nearly 13% YoY. Together, these two months represented the most successful festive season in the company’s history.

Domestic sales contributed the majority share at approximately 2.27 lakh units, while exports accounted for over 22,000 motorcycles. The strong demand was fueled by India’s major festive period — spanning Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Dussehra, and Diwali — when two-wheeler purchases traditionally surge.

Rural and semi-urban markets played a crucial role in this growth. Roughly one-third of Royal Enfield’s domestic sales came from rural India, supported by strong agricultural income and easier access to financing. Dealerships in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh reported double-digit growth during the two-month period, with many dealers citing renewed confidence among first-time buyers.

The Classic 350 and Hunter 350 continued to lead sales, while the Bullet 350 and Himalayan 450 added new momentum. Fresh colour variants and limited-edition models helped attract new customers, especially younger riders looking for modern performance with classic styling.

Operationally, the festive surge was managed through strong production planning and supply-chain coordination. Royal Enfield’s Oragadam and Vallam Vadagal plants operated at near-maximum capacity, supported by lean manufacturing systems, flexible assembly lines, and robust logistics. This allowed the brand to meet the festive demand without major delivery delays or stock shortages.

Exports also showed healthy growth, with increased shipments to the UK, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Models like the Interceptor 650 and Super Meteor 650 continued to strengthen Royal Enfield’s global presence.

The record-breaking 2025 festive season reinforces Royal Enfield’s leadership in India’s mid-size motorcycle segment. With its strong product portfolio, strategic rural focus, and improved supply-chain efficiency, the brand has once again set a new benchmark for performance and reliability.
